Face Covering in England is mandatory from 24th July

From this Friday - 24th July, it will be mandatory to wear a face covering in all public enclosed spaces in England

That means the supermarket, all shops, libraries, cinemas....wherever you are with other people not from your family.

So be ready!

There are some easy patterns to make even if you can’t sew! (I’ve put a link to the simplest one to make on YouTube)

Or there are some very trendy ones available to suit your mood or fashion tastes if you want to treat yourself.

Disposable masks are fine too, but so much better for the environment to have a reusable one.

This is a necessary action for us all to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus - IT HAS NOT GONE AWAY!

Currently 3 out of 4 in my family work for the NHS - I’m a pharmacist and working on Track and Trace, my daughter is a nursing assistant at our local hospital and my son is a driver for the BRI. All of us, everyday see the consequences of the pandemic.

I contact people who have tested positive to work out their recent contacts - that’s the easy part. My daughter works on a Covid ward and comes home exhausted and with heartbreaking stories. My son has the challenging job of returning the possessions of deceased patients to their loved ones. We all know it is vital to stop the spread and defeat this virus.

A face covering reduces the likelihood of you inhaling the virus droplets from others, and also stops you spreading the virus if you have no idea you are infected.

We all clapped our NHS workers weekly for their incredible work during the peak of the pandemic, let’s not give this virus a chance to come back!

STAY ALERT - STOP THE VIRUS - SAVE LIVES
